Studio at Fred Segal Private Pre-Sale Event

 

Robin Coe Hutshing is well known for her many accomplishments. She’s one of the most well respected personalities in the beauty business and one of the most watched as well. When Robin deems a new product worthy enough to be carried in her uber-hip beauty emporium, Studio at Fred Segal, beauty buyers around the world quickly follow suit. She’s the creator and founder of BURN Candles. And in collaboration with her sister, Jennifer Coe, she’s created one of the most exciting fragrance concepts of the year, Memorie Liquide.

But…the women (and men) of Los Angeles love her for another reason. Every year Robin holds her annual Studio at Fred Segal Sale and chaos ensues.

I was lucky enough to attend the Private Pre-Sale the day before it officially opened to the public, but even then, the frenzied pace of the invitees snatching up their favorite L’artisan Perfumes, In Fiore Body Oils, or DL& Co. Candles at 50% off was dizzying.

Luckily I had some of my girls to help me elbow through the crowd. The gorgeous Lauren from Ask Fashion Kitty snagged up armfuls of Korress, Carrie, my adorable designer at ThreadGroup bought up Stila palettes and creek creams, and chic foodie Sarah from The Delicious Life bought lip balms from Sohum.

Tables were piled high with products from Korres, Stila, CO Bigelow, In Fiore, Kit, Comptoir Sud Pacifique, BURN, Perlier, Delux Beauty, Abahna, Too Faced, Soaps From Provence, Exotic Perfumes, Scented Candles, Gifts From L'artisan Perfumeur, Penhaligan’s, Mor, Body Lotions, Lip Glosses, Cosmetics, Skin Care ,Nail Polish, Haircare, Holiday Gift Sets, and tons more.

We had a blast and it’s always good to bring a couple of friends…to help carry shopping bags.
