One of the best perks I have with being friends with so many brilliant talents in beauty, is the opportunity to hear what products they are addicted to at the moment. Usually whether we are chatting on the phone, having lunch, or working together…my first question is, “What product are you loving right now.”

Today, I was talking to the amazing Paul Starr and asked him that very question…and I thought I should share his insight. Sorry Paul, you know I can’t keep a secret.

“Right now, I’m loving the La Mer gel product, Gel De La Mer. I’ve been using it on all of my clients. It’s really light, but uses the same skincare ingredients that are in the regular Crème de La Mer product,” Paul said.

“I like applying it before makeup. It instantly absorbs into skin and creates this really beautiful dewiness. The skin is moisturized, plump, and smooth. The gel creates a perfect surface for makeup. Sometimes I’ll put a little bit of primer on top of it before I start the makeup application.”
