Our Faves for Wind Kissed Cheeks

A Shimmering Contour and A Pop of Color for that Winter Perfect Flush.
Get Cheeky.
I’m not sure what happened. Last week it felt like Summer, then in a snap, winter was here. Now I know it’s not exactly frosty out there, but when it’s time to pull out the cashmere and scarves, you know the Big Chill is just around the corner.
One of my favorite things about Winter are the gorgeous “Wind Kissed” cheeks on the lovely girls about town. You know what I mean…that illuminated cherry-pop glow that you get when you are outside in the cold. It’s youthful, fresh, and very cute…a perfect fireside look, for when it’s time to snuggle up and get warm with your beau.
The best way to achieve a natural “Wind Kissed” look is by using a cream or gel cheek product in a vibrant or deeper shade than you would normally wear. Adding a creamy shimmer on the top of the cheekbone and a creamy contour (in a shade darker than your skintone) in the hallows of your cheek, will make that apple pop.
Rub these colors on with the applicator or your fingers, and don’t worry about applying it too perfectly. Smooth on the creams or gel and let them be…the look should be natural and carefree…not overly sculpted or polished. The cream and gel products lets your skin come thru while making you look lit-from–within.
Here are some of our favorite “Wind Kissed” cheek products.

8. Kevin Aucoin Creamy Moist Glow: A quench of color for the cheeks that blends seamlessly into the skin. Try Liquidfuscia...it looks scary bright in the pot, but it sheers out beautifully on the skin, creating a cheery radiance. Gorgeous on light and dark complexions.
