Halle Berry: Things We Lost in the Fire Premiere

Halle Berry: Things We Lost in the Fire Premiere

Halle Berry always looks stunning, but we think she looked particularly fabulous at the LA Premiere of her most recent drama "Things We Lost in the Fire." One of our newest Celebrity Stylemakers, makeup artist Fiona Stiles, was the mastermind behind Berry's glamorous premiere look. We thought it would be nice to follow Fiona's introduction with a celebrity "Get the Look" article to give everyone a feel for the kind of work Fiona is currently creating for those Hollywood's leading ladies. Fiona thoughtfully wrote in to We Love Beauty explaining how we can achieve Halle Berry's premiere look ourselves. (The entire look was achieved using Revlon products.)

FACE: Fiona tells us, "Halle is naturally flawless. She has such stunning skin, that I only had to use the tiniest bid of foundation." Fiona used ColorStay Foundation in Caramel.

"After a light dusting of powder New Complexion Oil Free Powder in Natural Tan, I applied Revlon Cream Blush in Just Peachy to the apples of Halle's cheeks. I love a cream bluch becasue it makes the color look so natural, and it really becomes a part of the skin."

BROWS: "I filled in her brows and set them with Brow Fantasy in Dark Brown. One side is color and the other side is a gel to keep them in place which is a great idea. A pet peeve of mine is an unruly brow!"

EYES: "Halle wanted to go for a bit more of a dramatic look for the premiere...She had on a short one shoulder dress and black boots, so we pushed the look a bit to make it edgier. I lined the inside rim and around her lashes, top and bottom, with Revlon Luxurious Color Eyeliner in Black Velvet. I used the darkest color from the Sultry Smoke ColorStay 12 Hour Eyeshadow Quad over the liner to give the eye a soft smoky look."

"To soften it a bit, I took the bronzy color from the Not Just Nudes Illuminance Creme Eyeshadow Quad and put it in the inner corners of the eye and blended it into the shadow towards the crease and brow bone. The little bit of cream metallic added warmth and sheen to an otherwise very dark look. I used three coats of mascara: two coats of Fabulash Mascara in Blackest Black and one coat of Luxurious Lengths Mascara in Black."

LIPS: For the lips, I lightly lined them with ColorStay Lipliner in Sheer Coffee and filled them in with Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Nude Lustre. She is truly a natural, radiant beauty."

my comment will be cancelled but (for the 3 minutes it stays on here): No make-up artist I know (and I'm up there) uses only one brand.Don't always believe the hype and take all info with a grain of salt (especially when either the celeb or the make-up artist is under contract)

Yay! I'm so glad Fiona Stiles joined the We Love Beauty stylemakers team. Halle looks absolutely fabulous and I love the fact that we non-Hollywood types can recreate this look without having to spend a tremendous amount of money on designer cosmetics! Yay for REVLON! So it is true...celebrities do use drugstore brands! Thanks!
