Get the Look: Naomi Watts at the Met Costume Institute Gala Naomi Watts looked absolutely radiant at the Costume Institute Gala, "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy," held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City this week. And the one-and-only Mr. Paul Starr was the man responsible for Watt's stunning beauty. Naomi wore a fabulous 1930s inspired white Thierry Mugler gown to the gala, so Paul only thought it appropriate to give Naomi's makeup a 1930s spin. Using the classic novel and film The Fountainhead as inspiration, Paul focused on classic liner, arched brows and a red pout. Mr. Starr was also excited to use the new Thierry Mugler luxury cosmetic collection, called "The Art of the Metamorphosis." With the theme of the evening revolving around superheroes and fantasy, it only seems appropriate to be using Mugler cosmetics, which look completely otherworldly...READ MORE: Get the Look: Naomi Watts at the Met Costume Institute Gala

Get the Look: Penelope Cruz at the 2008 Oscars The lovely and talented Celebrity Stylemaker & makeup artist, Rachel Goodwin was very generous to share with us her makeup application process for the gorgeous Penelope Cruz at this year's Academy Awards ceremony. Rachel created a classic face on Penelope - but with an unexpected twist. As the master of the smoky eye, Rachel decided to create a NAVY smoky eye on Ms. Cruz. She wanted Penelope's beauty look to be "all about her eyes." Rachel kept the rest of Penelope's face toned-down a bit to bring attention to her beautiful eyes. "Navy is a different color choice from the norm, but it is also such a classic. I wanted to make a classic look - modern...READ MORE: Get the Look: Penelope Cruz at the 2008 Oscars

Get the Look: Amy Adams at the 2008 Oscars Two of our favorite Stylemakers, celebrity hairstylist, Mark Townsend and makeup artist Molly Stern were the masterminds behind Amy Adams flawless beauty for the 80th Annual Academy Awards. We had a chance to chat with both talents to get the inside scoop on what went down on the big day. Molly and Mark had a chance to see Amy's fabulous Proenza Schouler emerald gown the day before the Oscars (aka the "beauty Superbowl" -as Mark so passionately titles it) - to get a feel for what the best look for Amy would be. On the day of the awards, Molly, Amy and Mark gathered around and had an in depth discussion about her styling for the red carpet. Get the Look: Jennifer Garner at the 2008 Oscars Paul Starr on Jen Garner's Oscar Makeup: 1. What was your inspiration for Jen Garner's look? "Jen has a deep sense of glamour and beauty. We wanted to create a classic look. I looked towards Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn as classic beauties for my inspiration for Jen's Oscar look. I also went through many old Academy Award books for inspiration. And I knew for sure that there would be NO matchy-matchy. To me, matching you makeup with your dress is dated." 2. Did Jen participate in creating the look or did she leave it in your hands? "Jen is always so wonderful to work with. She is such a great woman. Very calm. Very chill. And completely comfortable with herself and her team. She puts a lot of trust in me and the rest of her team of stylists to create a beautiful look for her. Jen and I have been working together for the past 7 years - we have a great history. And Jen never looks in the mirror while I do her makeup. She lets me be free with what I envision for her." 3. What was the energy like while you were doing her makeup? "Jen's team was at her house to help her prepare for the big night, including her publishers and managers. There was definitely a great energy...READ MORE: Get the Look: Jennifer Garner at the 2008 Oscars

Sarah Michelle Gellar at The Air I Breathe Premiere Sarah Michelle Gellar looked stunning at the Los Angeles Premiere of The Air I Breathe at Hollywood’s ArcLight Theatre on Tuseday. Sarah arrived in a bright turquoise dress with a gold knit trim - the look had an elegant egyptian feel. The dress was glamorous yet, casual. We were floored when we saw her. Flawless. As soon as we spotted her, we knew the mastermind behind her look had to be celebrity makeup artist Rachel Goodwin. Rachel wanted to make sure Sarah's makeup flowed well with the idea of this breezy glamour. And she created a look that was bold and bright, yet simple at the same time. She didn't want to take away from the dress - but rather compliment the bright shade and style. We have to give props to SMG's hairstylist Mara Roszak. Sarah's hair was beautiful and soft, loosely pulled back into a tousled braided up-do - so pretty, unique and fresh. We quickly called upon our friend Rachel ...READ MORE: Sarah Michelle Gellar at The Air I Breathe Premiere

He was more than happy to share his step-by-step for all of you - and here it is: Paul was inspired by Jennifer's strapless Gucci number. He loved the graphic quality of the minidress she wore.
