Get the Look: Maggie Gyllenhaal at Dark Knight

For the premiere, I wanted Maggie to have a completely modern look. I decided to keep her hair up. I applied Matrix Vavoom Volumizing Foam to her damp hair and rough dried it throughout with my fingers, not with a brush.
When all the hair was dry, I used R Sessions Naluwaver - Double Barrel Iron, wrapping the hair in a figure 8 around the two barrels. This gives the hair an amazing wave! When I waved all of her hair, I mixed Matrix Biolage Molding Souffle and Matrix Biolage Shine Endure Spritz in my hands and raked it through her hair to give it texture and shine.
I didn't want a bun or a french twist, so I took random sections of hair from the back and sides and twisted them back away from the face and pinned them to the middle of the back of her head. Then I took the top section and created twists from the front to the back. I then pinned each section of twisted hair to the back, so all sections ended near the same place in the back. I left out a few loose pices of hair around the hairline and in the back to keep it looking fresh and modern."
