Coach Launches Three Lipsticks

Coach Launches Three Lipsticks

Few knew how influential Reed Krakoff, Coach’s President & Executive Creative Director would be when he joined the company in 1996. Now just over a decade later, the American leather goods brand is one of the largest, most iconic fashion companies in the world.

With it’s colorful leathers, polished brass details, and graphic patterned scarves Coach has been decorating the arms of stylish women for years…but is it time to decorate their faces, too?

This month, Coach dips its stylish toe into the beauty world with its launch of three new lipsticks. The creamy sheer formulas are smooth and incredibly wearable in shades Rose, Poppy, and Peony. Smartly detailed, as with all Coach items, the lipstick bullets are molded with the Coach logo on the side…and are housed in chic silver, logo patterned cases.

And they didn’t stop with lipsticks. Check out COACH.com to explore their other beauty items like perfume, shimmer powder, body lotion, and solid fragrance. Could Coach be the new Lauder?

I have this in the Rose shade. It's really pretty, quite long lasting and the packging is fabulous.

As most have mentioned, the Coach logo on the lipstick itself is like Chanel in fact I think it is *too* like Chanel. What sets apart Coach's bags from all the other bags in the world is its unqiue style. You know what a Coach bag looks like-everyone does. They have a signature image so why are they incorporating a Chanel accent on their lipstick? I think it's a bit predictable and certainly nothing unqiue. When people think Coach, they think purses. If you want people to think about cosmetics too, make it memorable just like your bags are especially since you are introducing a new category to the Coach brand. And there's my two cents...

wow, this is amazing. I must admit, the logo in the side is reminiscent of Chanel, and I like that. I'm not sure I'd ever buy these, because I have Rose in a cheaper version by T'ea called Dusty Rose, and I know I can find Peony and Poppy, too! I've also had a bit of a solid perfume obsession lately, so I'm totally excited to hear more about that. I think the cosmetics line, if they expanded it, would go on to do great things!

I always like Coach's imagery - I just don't really like their products. That patchwork purse is a big NO but the lipsticks are pretty. I like the color on her lips... is that the rose? It doesn't look quite so pink in the bullet.

The packaging is pretty & I love the name etched in. Rose & Peony look pretty. I could see giving or receiving this as a gift, but I would never seek it out.

They look real pretty - the packaging is beautiful. I love how the bullets are molded with the Coach logo. However, regardless of the prettiness I probably would never buy these...i guess I have issues with a fashion and handbag company branching into cosmetics....I'm like stick to what you know....but my feelings could always change.

Nah, I'm not a big Coach fan.

“I don't understand how a woman can leave the house without fixing herself up a little - if only out of politeness. And then, you never know, maybe that's the day she has a date with destiny. And it's best to be as pretty as possible for destiny.” -
