    Ben's Bathroom: Clarisonic

    Ben's Bathroom: Clarisonic

Everyday I get emails asking about the products that I personally use. As you can imagine, I have a lot of stuff. Whether it’s products that I’m currently developing with one of my clients, or items sent to me to review for WELOVEBEAUTY.com, or new things that I’m buying on my own out of sheer curiosity…my bathroom is busting at the seams with beauty and grooming goods.

With that being said, while I do try a lot, at the end of the day I’m pretty streamlined when it comes to my personal grooming regimen. I have a handful of products that I use religiously and the rest usually get tested and passed on to friends. Yes, they are lucky.

So for this column, I’m going to disclose some of my absolute favorite product picks…the stuff that I use on a daily basis. We’re about to get personal.

My pick for the first Ben’s Bathroom post has to be my Clarisonic Face Brush.

For those of you who haven’t tried the wonder brush yet, let me tell you, it has changed the way I cleanse my face on a daily basis. Developed by Pacific BioScience Laboratories, the team behind the Sonicare Toothbrush, CLARISONIC uses proprietary sonic technology and a two-way oscillating brush system to safely, deeply cleanse and clarify the skin.

Oscillating back and forth more than 300 times per second, the round brush massages the skin, gently lifting dirt and oil…ultimately helping to decongest clogged pores and lessen sebum production, which has been a savior for my oily complexion.

Clarisonic is not only for oily skin. It’s a perfect tool for all skin types. The gentle exfoliation reduces dry patches, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and makes skin feel incredibly smooth. What’s not to love.

I use my Clarisonic in the morning in the shower and in addition to using it on my face, I’ll use it on my chest, shoulders and the back of my arms…all places I tend to break out- especially after workouts. Rumor has it that a Clarisonic for Body brush is on its way. I’ll be first in line for that. I also use the Clarisonic at night before bed. If you are like me…washing your face at night feels like such a chore. The Clarisonic makes it a little easier, and certainly more fun.

The best part about the Clarisonic? After using the brush, all of your skincare products absorb better, thus making them more effective. Being a skincare junkie, I love that.

So know you know, my Clarisonic is practically an extension of my right hand. My Sonicare toothbrush is in my left…but that’s another post all together.

    Boys love toys.

Have you tried the Clarisonic? Are you an addict, too? Give me the scoop.

I would have thought that this was too harsh for dry skin, but now I want one.

Wow, that looks fab. I wonder how much it retails for and where I could get it Canada? It's definately something I would try.
